At Mithila Roots, we aim to deliver your makhana and dry fruits as fresh and quickly as possible. Please read our shipping policy below.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of order confirmation.
  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
  • You will receive an order confirmation via email/SMS/WhatsApp once your order is placed.

2. Shipping Time & Delivery

  • Delhi: 2–3 business days
  • Other states: 4–7 business days
  • Remote/rural areas: 7–10 business days

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or local restrictions.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Delhi: ₹100 per order
  • Outside Delhi (other states): ₹160 per order
  • Shipping charges are clearly shown at checkout before payment is made

4. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking ID and link via email/SMS/WhatsApp
  • You can track your order status directly through the courier partner’s website/app

5. Delivery Partners

We ship through trusted courier partners such as [Delhivery / Shiprocket / India Post / etc.] to ensure safe and timely delivery.

6. Packaging

All products are securely and hygienically packed in food-safe, tamper-proof packaging to preserve freshness and prevent damage during transit.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

  • Courier partners typically make 2–3 delivery attempts
  • If delivery fails after multiple attempts due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, the order may be returned to origin, and re-shipping charges may apply

8. Address Changes

  • Address changes are only possible before the order is dispatched

9. Delayed or Lost Shipments

  • If your order is significantly delayed or appears lost in transit, please contact us at [email/phone] with your Order ID, and we will investigate with the courier partner and resolve it promptly

10. International Shipping

  • Currently, we only ship within India.
